With over 15 years of experience in software engineering and operations, Chikelue has the breadth and depth of experience needed to quickly understand today’s enterprise business challenges and craft the most suitable solutions.
He is a technically strong Business and Technology professional with over 15 years of valuable experience gained across different business platforms ranging from Telecoms to Finance industries in different countries including, but not limited to the United Kingdom. He has been responsible for mentoring junior software engineers, business and systems analysts, and product managers to senior levels over fifteen years of his career. His experience cuts across business strategy, operations, enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, data modelling, systems design, software development, applications design, and agile project management.
After acquiring his First degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Lagos State University, Chikelue spent approximately two years working for blue-chip companies like Barclaycard and Getronics in the United Kingdom. He returned to Nigeria to make his own contributions to the budding IT industry in 2006. Since then, he has worked with various fast-growing and large Information Technology companies in Nigeria, working on the most challenging projects, such as the Coca-Cola Refresh and Recharge promotion and the REMITA- FIRS ITAS automated collections platform.
In the year 2012, Chikelue was invited by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to serve on the Nigerian Software Policy committee, a committee of industry stakeholders charged with proposing a policy geared towards developing and regulating the Nigerian software industry.
Chikelue is currently working as a Software Engineer at the Amsterdam, The Netherlands office of DAZN, a global and multinational live and on-demand sports streaming service with offices and operations in various countries of the world. He has proven excellent leadership ability and holds an MBA Degree from the University of Roehampton, London, UK.
